Support for Parents or Carers
Parent and Carer Support
When your child is struggling, it can be hard to know how best to help. You might find yourself worrying, questioning what to do, or feeling unsure about how to respond.
I offer support for parents and carers who would like help understanding their childās difficulties, whether thatās changes in mood, behaviour, anxiety, or other concerns. Together, we can think about what might be going on for your child and how best to support them.
You might also come for support with a specific aspect of parenting, such as managing behaviour, setting boundaries, building confidence in your approach, or handling particularly stressful situations. Sessions provide a space to reflect, ask questions, and explore practical, realistic strategies tailored to your family.
Parent and carer support can take place on its own, or alongside work with a child or young person. We can meet individually or together, depending on what feels most helpful and comfortable for you.
The aim is to help you feel more confident, supported, and clear about how to move forward.
